January and a New Year have come in with hope, promise and plenty of stormy days to be creative in the studio. Our first studio assignment was a Basil infused olive oil. The image we created is inspired by the light we saw one afternoon from our kitchen as we were musing about the direction to take this image. The light is infused with warmth as the olive oil is and the ingredients wrap around the objects to create a still life that is full of texture and life.
