Citrus, One Light Source, 2 bounce cards, 1 with matte foil

This page allows students of the Basic Studio Lighting Class to weigh in about assignments or make general comments. We had our first 2 class meeting and covered Color temperature, sources of light, hard and soft light, one light source.

This image was shot by VIRGINIA BLOOMER as her final assignment. She used continuous light from a siNple continuous light source and some fill.

This still life image was photographed by SILKE LAETZ as a class assignment, continuous light source, add fill.

This portrait image was taken by GREG HYDE (photoshop instructor at PGAE) of fellow student Arabella during a class hands on demo. Class was broken into groups of 3 and each student played the role of camera person, assistant and subject. 

 This image was taken by Arabella Colton from the first assignment about color temperature. Arabella shoots with a 35mm film camera and she found a way to use filtration to learn the affects of gels on her subject and b/w film.
