Basic Lighting

This blog is for the students of the basic lighting class that meets on Monday night at PGAE. I have included image here from previous classes to show how some of the students did their assignments. We will be adding images to this site in the coming weeks so please check back.

Brian Gould created this image for one of his assignments.

Paule Sault created these self portraits for her class assignment. Paule uses a mixture of household lamps and ones she has created from the hardware store.

Peggy Kodle made this image for one of her assignments with a very small Point and Shoot camera. Kudos to Peggy for getting the most out of limited equipment. Peggy is a ceramicist and took the basic lighting class to improve her portfolio shots.

Shirley West created this Nautilus Shell photograph for one of her assignments in still life. Shirley works with lights that are common household items reappropriated as studio lighting equipment.
